I was in to see Paul at F of O last week. Wanted to write a cheque and get on the list. He said "not yet" -- no list till he gets details from factory on options.

There will always be one around willing to take deposits. Unfortunatly they never give you the slightest idea when you will even get your car. Hopefully the info will be out soon.

Remember one thing, if you want to be first, come up with the biggest cash bribe.

Paul told me, FoO is taking deposits for the F430 on the past Monday, but I'm still waiting for him to call me back inorder to appraise my 355. I just went to Lambo dealer today to have a look at the Gallardo, what do you guys think of it? Would it be a better alternative since Paul gave me a feeling that he does not want my business ?!

Don't let some egomaniac like the sales guy, (Paul), turn you off the best sports cars on planet earth! He'll be long gone and you'll still be waxing your 430. Buy your dream at Montreal or Vancouver. Don't feed the monster.

    Forza Ferrari!

A lot of these salespeople have attitude. Funny thing is their Fords are parked in the back with a Big Ferrari Sticker on the fenders, hahahahah

It isn't (or shouldn't be) just the sales people that customers take issue with when it comes to FoO. Overall, a terrible experience for anyone but Remo's best buds. PLEASE PEOPLE, TRY A DIFFERENT DEALER!

I just test drove a Gallardo today, the car, sales everything gave me a way better feeling than the Prancing horse. BTW, I still never got a call back from Paul.

apparently 10% over list of the 360, so should be starting around the 117,000 ukgbp mark

I have delt with Paul for many years... I purchased BMW's (X5 and 330) from him when he worked at BMW and my Stradale from him. He has been very up front with me and no bs...he is not your normal salesman type where he tells you what you want to hear just to sell a car. In my many years of dealing with salesmen, Paul has been a refreshing change to what I have to go through when I buy my cars/trucks.

I have had it all...from overly aggressive sales guys calling you 3 times a day, too sales guys not knowing their facts but saying they do, to sales guys making promises they knowningly can not keep.

Good luck with the purchase of your new car...you can not go wrong with either mark...IMO. ;)

Michele at Toronto Lambo, is a very nice man. Been there many a times to view the Gallardo, was willing to take the TR on trade and was very fair on the price for both. The Gall is one hell of a ride....but it felt abit to.....well german/japanese, not italian. Hell of a car, but my heart is still with the prancing horse.

    I 2nd to that.

The Gallardo does feel like a German car instead of Italian, the built quality and the car drives very rigid.

Why spend your money at FOO? Remo's an A-----e, if you go for the Gallardo you won't regret it.

Sombody should point out this thread to Remo(ashole)Ferri. But he will never change. Even his own cusin who I deal with on a regular basis has no love for the guy. I have had major issues them them in the past(do a search you'll see them). They are a bunch of crooks.

When the 360 was still out and they introduced the Gallardo, I would've gone for the Gallardo. But now that I've seen the F430, I've turned around and would get that instead. I think it looks much better than the out-going 360 and I'm intrigued by the new features like the E-DIFF and the stability-control switch on the steering wheel.
