    Is it just me or does the f430 exhaust note sound louder in race mode Vs sport mode???

    switthcing to race mode means faster gear changes, tighther and harder suspension, and louder notes ;)

    Maybe you're just hearing the difference of the bypass valves opening the exhaust earlier when the car's in Race mode?

    I have a feeling the vacuum signal to the bypass valve changes so the car actually sounds louder regardless of rpm.

    I have not noticed a difference between sport and race, but there is definitely a difference between wet and sport. My car is a stick.
