Hello, I had previously posted about replacing a power window switch in a 2006 F430, I do not have the radio removed or the trim panel, I did remove the nameplate , the 2 screws underneath and the 3 vent rings but am stuck there. Also I think I screwed myself, I tried to pop off the heat/ Ac panel trim underneath and didn't break anything but can't get the bottom portion to pop back in.
    Desperate, please help.
    Thank you.

Remove the radio first using the radio removal tools that came with you radio, you'll have to remove the left knob by sliding the ferrari logo, on the radio, to the right. Disconnect the radio and remove it

Remove the F430 name plate and the two screws. Since you have the radio off you'll now have access to two screws which need to be removed...remove those and you can remove the entire central trim. Disconnect the window switches by pulling off the connectors (this takes some force). Take the central trim (with the window switches still attached to them), place it on a table and you can remove the window switches with a small flat head screw driver.

Thank you so much for quick reply, however I do not understand what to slide to remove the radio, I have both knobs off and the anti theft faceplate removed but can see nothing. It is a Ferrari radio, Becker is the brand name.
Thank you very much for you help and PDF file.

Check out this video on removing the radio, you need the radio removal tool

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c62jyxQwAjM

You'll have to do this simultaneously on the left and right side.

Google "Ferrari 360 & F430 Radio Removal and Aux/iPod cable fitting" it should take you to one of Aldous Voice's posts with a good explanation on removing the radio.

If you have the knobs off then no need to slide the ferrari logo on the radio to reveal where you insert the radio removal tool. Just have a look over Aldous's post on removing the radio.

Yes definitely use a radio removal tool. Very inexpensive from ebay or amazon. Then you will have access to 2 more screws holding the center dash plate in. After that you can look inside behind the a/c controls and see 2 i believe allen type screws. You only need to loosen those and push a/c panel back in and tighten the 2 allens back down.

On mine the 2 screws under the radio that holds the big center dash panel were stuck in there and started to strip the phillip heads. So I used an impact driver and it got it loose. If you don't have one try tapping on the screwdriver with a hammer to get it loose.
