The plastic wind blocker rattles. Anyone else with the same problem. Any fix?
I'm assuming that you're talking about the spider? Apply some of the loop side of velcro to take up the space. You can buy it in strips with adhesive on one side.
When you say space, do you mean in the holes (or on the posts of the blocker) or underneath the blocker (where it contacts the car). Thanks
hi, i dont know about the spider, but my coupe exuast rattles, it drove me crazy, it had only 1300miles thank god i got it fix before 2 days anyone 1 with that problem too ?
It is a known problem. May even be a subject of a TB. Regarding Spider rattle, am puzzled how that can happen unless it is misaligned causing it to hit against the roll bar. Mine has more than enough space between the bars.
I have the same rattle on my Spider, but doesn't happen all the time. Only when the windows are up or down - can't remember. Nick - the rattle is not from the deflector hitting the hoops. Mine seems loose around the pin holes.
I tried the velcro on the pins. With the velcro on I could not get the wind shield in. I did not want to force it. I don't know whats in the holes.
They had some of the tips that had loose parts inside. They'll replace them if they're not right. What about a little electrical tape?
