So my registration is going to expire on 10/31 on my F430 and I need to have Emissions done but no Safety inspection. Where do you guys go to do your emissions/inspection? I took it to BMW of Pleasant Grove last year. I think Steve Harris did it all the other years but I live in Draper so seems like a waste to drive all the way to Steve Harris just for registration.
Should I just put it away for winter and drive it up there in the Spring for annual service and have them register it then? If I get pulled over would a cop be cool if I told him I'm driving it to get registered. Ah the decisions I have to make, my life is so hard ;)

I'm more than happy to volunteer my time to drive it into Steve Harris for you. ;)
My understanding is that the cost to get the testing done is standardized. I'd be more inclined to take the car to some kind of big dealership because they'll have the liability coverage incase anything should happen to your car.

When I bought my new to me 355 last year I had to find a place to do the inspections... I drove into a local small service station and they were like "Holly **** what do we do with a Ferrari?" It took them a bit to figure it all out but in the end everything went smoothly and the station had its first Ferrari.

I'm up north so this place won't work for you..
I do understand not wanting to drive your car on the freeway though, broken windshields aren't cheap.
