    My driver door won't close.

The reason, becuase when the door opens the window doesn't open that little bit like it normally does to then allow the door to close. so, to fully close the door I need to first lower the window slightly via the electric window switch, close the door, then completely close the window. (Yes, the elctric window drive works)

Does anyone know what controls the window open/close action when openning or closing the doors? Where is the part situated?

    Thanks.

There are small micro switchs on the door opening internal handle /lever to lower the window when you get out, and and on the lock mech inside the door to lower the window when you get in. You can figure out when is in need or adjustemnt or repiar based upon the problem entering or exiting the car. If it fails bit ways, try turning the battery switch in the trunk off for a bit and then back on to cycle the window ecu.

Those micro switches go out frequently, that sounds like the cause.
