Holy Crap! That is a freakin' MODEL?!?!?!?!?!?! I must know...and if you don't want to post here, then PM me, but how much for the same scale for my 1999 F355 F1 Spider in TdF/Cuio?
Simply amazing. Forget PMs... let us all know what it costs to have this done. I'm assuming you source the F430/Scud model pre-made by someone else and then customize the model to fit the customer's particular car (color, calipers, interior etc), right? Frank
Stunning. How much for a yellow Scuderia w/ Black stripe and Black interior w/ Yellow stiching also yellow calipers??
If you want a new one, it's a two year waiting list, but even then you have to have purchased other models from the same dealer at significant markup and then resold them back to the dealer at below market value. And even then there are no promises. It's JUST like the real thing. Seriously, that interior is unreal. Or rather very real. I thought it was the real deal as I scrolled through.
Sorry I forgot to recheck this thread after the posting and was suprised to see nearly 500 hits this morning. These models are stunning and I'm glad this thread woke some of you up! Please contact me at [email protected] for more details and pricing. These works of art are not cheap BUT they do cost less than 2% of the value of the real car - or to put things in perspective, way less than the 'striping option' on the Scuderia ;-) Below are some others we have built for clients - including Rosso Nuovo LHD, Giallo RHD, Rosso Corsa LHD.......the sky is the limit. This has been a great thread. Three willing F430 Scuderia owners have stepped up to the plate in the last 48 hours.
I always love the secrecy of the pricing, makes people feel like some are getting better prices than others. Should just put it out there for all to see. IMO
There is no secrecy, and anyone seriously interested can simply check my website or send me an email. The prices are posted and do not fluctuate, though some custom projects may vary slightly. parothed97 - since you are in Toronto, come by the store to see the same large model in a 16M. We have built a few dozen for various owners in all colors and configurations. Some images are below. Those models are really awesome! A bit expensive tho... You should do a special discount for Fchatter's members (I mean a BIG discount).. You could do a poll and see how many customers are serious buyers, if the number of orders or interests reached X (your sales objectives) a discount of X will be applied... I'm sure if you reconsider your price, we're all gonna order! Love your work buddy Cheers! G
Georges.....sadly there is not a high profit margin in them and they are custom built. Each model takes over 100 hours to make from over 1000 parts. I do work out some deals, but not huge ones.....so buying one is not like going to your Ferrari dealer and having to pay full MSRP on a new car To quote one Ferrari owner who bought one, 'damn, these models cost less than many of the options on my car'. If you email me I can send you some more hi-res pix. Trust me they are worth it. We have built several dozen for Scud & 16M owners and they have all been ecstatic. Morry
whoops that was a typo in my last reply, these take over 200 hours to build (after the first 3000 hours of initial R&D)
Sorry there are many large models in the range of Ferraris - F430, 599 GTB, Enzo, FXX, California Spider, 250 TR, new California, 458 Italia, etc. etc. But sadly no 360s in any variation. See the full range here: http://www.collectorstudio.com/index.cfm/ID/16
