    Hello Ferraristis!

Since last weekend i´m a proud owner of an F430 F1. (i will introduce the yellow one in another thread)

I´m asking myself: Which parts are changed in the Scud?

    What i know:
    - Gearbox (what exactly? only software or also hardware?)
    - Engine (software i guess, also other camshafts or other hardware?)
    - Exhaust (does the Scud have a valve-exhaust?)
    - Brakes (are the same as the CarbonCeramik-F430 option? but standard equipped)
    - Tires (+10mm width on each axle)
    - Body (fenders and rims - not that important... or better saying easy to see)
    - Interiour (seats, doorpanels, floormats, less sound damping material, - what else?)
    - Windows (is the glas thinner?)
    ?

May there exist already a list?
Otherwise please add (verified) infos in the list above.

    thank you.

    Advice: buy a Scud - it's cheaper.

Check out f430addict's thread. He's almost made his 430 a scud minus the engine and his parts list is EXTENSIVE. And to answer your question simply, yes it's much more than software tuning.

Don't forget one important difference between these two cars: the naming of F430 Scuderia is without the "F"! ;)

Scuderia doesn't have pre-cats (in the headers) right?

    Correct.

    'SCUD'
Verb. To move fast as if driven by the wind.

    i don´t want to modify my F430...
its all about: "just to know"

    right! thank you!
i just recogniced it an hour ago - where i compared laptimes...
(may some mod can correct the thread title - thank you)

    thank you.
but ufff... it has 55pages - here i need a long Sunday to go trough it :D
    here the link: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/360-430/336698-f430addict-madness-has-begun-again-scuderization-56.html

For sure there was a webside / brochure / press message / ... from Ferrari - where this comparison was listed in detail.!?

Regarding the E46 CSL for example i have it in my mind; in comparison with the normal E46 M3.
But now i have also a F430 and want to know it compared with the 430 Scud! To know for what i have to start saving again! :)
