I have 2006 F430, is there an Error Code that might signify that the clutch needs bleeding or has air in that system. In manual mode the paddles are intermittin and will not shift the transmission all of the time. In auto mode the car seems to shift fine. It appears to be worse when the car has been driven awhile and is hot.
Car has recent clutch but the pump is original 25K miles Thanks, Tom

Sounds like the PIS setting need to be optimized. The tech that did the job need to hook it up to an SD3 to verify. Here are the 430 codes if you're interested

Thanks for reply, The clutch was installed 2 years ago and has under three thousand miles since then. I will try to download the codes off the car and see if I find any stored or current. Thanks, Tom

Don't think you will be able to read any error codes without a Leonardo, SD3 or Texa. OBD readers will not show what's going on with the F1 system. If the problem persists, you'll probably need to have the system diagnosed by a dealer or indy with the proper software as above

You are correct, my OBD did not detect any errors and does not have the F1 software. Thanks, Tom

Clutches don't need to be "broken in".

    I will clarify above statement
Normal clutches do not need to be broke it, if its a carbon fibre clutch then it kind of does
    Likely not the case.
Just to ask, you say the clutch was done 2 years but was it done when you owned the car and now its acting up?
    Just to be clear

If it was good and now is not what changed with the system, anything??
Did oil get low in F1 system to allow air, did you notice if it was dripping indicating that a hose is leaking?
Does it build pressure 8n the system and hold the pressure like its supposed too?
