Hi A buddy of mine owns a F430 Spider. At his last service last year his battery has been replaced but he did not followed the procedure to maintain the battery and plug it in for storage over winter. However, now his battery is dead and he's looking to buy a new one but the local auto parts shops don't have any clue what type of battery is needed. Please help me out. We are located in Romania so we're looking for a place to buy in Europe... Thanks, Dan
I'm not near my car right now but I can say that you need a battery with the +pos on the left front side as you look at the face of the battery. I would feel sure that about 65 ampHrs would be the rating,(it will be written on the top of the exisiting battery) and while they have some special types in the US my choice over here in Europe would be Bosch Silver. You will find it available in most good motor parts/factors and in many hypermarkets which have a car accessory section, very often at prices which can't be beaten by the local parts man, because of the quantity buying benefit which the large supermarket/hypermarket chains would enjoy.....huge numbers at one time purchase.
