I bet that rumor started when someone saw/heard about that new 575 w/ the glass hard-top and, well, you know how rumors go... "Hey I heard from a guy who heard from a guy who heard from a guy that the factory is making some car with a glass hard-top" "Oh! It must be the new 430 spider. Let me go post on fchat..."
"Um, he's sick. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious."
Just got back from FoLI and confirmed the following: 575 will have a retractable hardtop...BUT not like the MB's SL or SLK, but yes indeed it will be a glass top that you can flip back to become a part of the engine cover. You can also adjust the transparency of the glass. 430 Spider will LIKELY have a similar top. AND... Ferrari will start to offer it's OWN exhaust system...to compete against Tubi Capristo.
I've heard similar about the exhaust -- I also heard that Tubi is upping their offering as well with a few additional models in their line up. As for the 430 solid roof? I've got no info other than that pic. It'd be great if it were true.
