My 2005 F430 spider has not been started in 21 days. While it was sitting, I had it on the big Factory Ferrari charger (I know many people hate this one) that plugs in by the windshield. I went to start the car this evening and it seemed the battery was too weak to start the car. When I got out I noticed the window switch lights were on and would not go out. I did some searches and saw that can cause battery issues. After opening the passenger door a few times and closing it the window switch lights finally went off (saw this in a search). Now all lights are off in the car. I put the car back on the charger. Will the battery get charged enough overnight to start in the morning? Or is this charger too weak to get the battery charged enough to start it.

I do not want to jump start it from the searches I've done. The battery is over 2 years old but I've never had an issue with it. Also, I've never seen these window switch lights not go out so that gives me some concern.

I think you should have a good charge by morning.

It may take a full 24 hrs. Does your charger have a "charged" indicator?

Battery seems shot. The radio is now asking for the code. I'll pick up a new Interstate battery today as my local Firestone has the exact battery in stock.

Swap went well started up first try. I bought a deltran tender for it as the car was prewired. I'll put the fancy Ferrari charger back in its leather bag.

The Ferrari charger said 100% percent but it was not really so.

Glad to hear it went well !

I'm thinking about leaving the factory charger in its pretty case as well and using a Granite Digital since it is more of a maintainer, charger, etc.
