Great video! Nice to see the car pushed. I love the Japanese videos. The drivers have no inhibitions and you have the pleasure of watching the pedal work. Looks like a fun little track.
It's a great vid, but I can't the number of times there has been a new thread for this vid on 2 hands, but the greatness of the vid itself makes up for that.
I like the "GT versus Rally drivers" videos: Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDNegrFZ_C4&NR Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kaITGT8_pr4 Not using a Ferrari, but it's interesting to compare the driving styles. Looks like they were having fun, too.
Here's a question I should already know the answer for: Do the actual track-built Ferraris (GT, Challenge) have true steering wheel-mounted shift paddles (vs. those on the column)? You could see a couple times where he had to reach away for an upshift, and I don't think that would be an ideal competition setup.
Yes, they do. The paddles are still on the column, but they are just really long so you never have to reach to far.
