    I seem to be getting a rattle that sounds like timing gear, between 2500 and 3250 RPM. I can only hear it when the roof is down and the noise disappears above 3500 RPM. I'm hoping I'm wrong about the source of the rattle. Has anyone else experienced similar?

    Car only has 11000 miles..

    Maybe a loose or broken exhaust bracket. Mine makes a similar noise at same rpm. I've had both brackets replaced twice. I have the feeling they're broken again.

    Check the hardware holding the grille between the tail lights and also the grille in the diffuser. Both of mine were loose and made a rattle noise at about the same RPM. No noise since re-tightening everything.

    Thanks guys, I was tapping some part last night and discovered that the grille between the tail lights seems to rattle a bit. I'll re-tighten everything tonight...hopefully that will do it.
