    Guys, I've been lusting after the cs stripes for my 430. Not trying to be a wannabe but just love the Italian flag colours. So is it wrong to have them on a 430 if it's not a scud or 16m? I like the ones in this YouTube vid but can't seem to find them on sale anywhere. Please help if you Knossos where I can find em. Cheers.

    Just trade your 430 for a CS with stripe.....

    to me its like putting an M on a 3 series...maybe its just me

    I know what you mean coming from owning an M6 prior to the 430. Well, putting an M is fine. Its kinda show of support for the works of M division. It's a different story putting an M3/5/6 badge on a non-M car. Now thats rubbish!

    Not a fan of CS stripe on any other car except the CS, but it's your car, your choice.

    I would call your local F-dealership service dept and ask if they do it and can refer one for you.

    Do not go for the cheap place since the mistake will be costly.

    I would find a high end Stereo accessories place. They have the staff typically that can do such a deal.

    Ferrari mechanics don't know how to put stickers on....

    It's pretty simple if you've done race decals before...simply spray on soapy liquid and align the stickers to your satisfaction, push out the air bubbles and allow to dry,

    I've done lots of race decals but I've never cared if they were a touch off or not. I don't disagree it can be done. I just like having someone else do stuff and most of the time these type of shops look forward to showcasing their talents and do a fantastic job for not a lot of cash.

    Exactly. A guys put the stripe on his 360 modena here where I live and it looks horrible. I have the same feelings about putting 430 wheels on a 360, sorry, but that's the way I feel.

    If you like the Italian tricolor, have you thought about the 16M Stripe ?
    A bit of advice on fitting these Stripes.
    Unless you are very adept at fitting decals and you have done it many times before, we usually recommend giving it to a professional, because you only get one chance at getting it right. The people most suitable, are shops that fit clear bras to luxury vehicles or people who do signwriting on commercial vehicles.
    But if you decide to buy a CS, you can buy one without the Stripe and we can fix that too.:)

    Actually, I was referring to the 16m tricolour stripes. I guess I didn't make it clear but still its no lesser sin since mine's a 430coupe. Ok. Thanks for the advice. Guess it's not as easy as race decals, precision is key with these Italian ladies.

    i love this thread as it has appeared several times on the forum . I was well aware of the attitudes that surround putting anything on a Ferrari that is or was not STOCk . But I did it anyway and heard nothing but I love it from Ferrari heads. So if you like it do it . its not communist Russia where there would be consequences ,, Its a dif look who cares. If you have to doubt what you like because of the clubhouse mentality thats pretty sad also .. so yes another 360 PRETENDING to be something it isnt .Funny thing was when I sold the car buyer loved it also.
