I want to do a track day with Speed Venture @ Auto Club Speedway in a few weeks. They require front and rear tow hooks. What is the best way to install hooks on an F430?

It's also a convertible. Does anyone know if I will have a problem with that? They say you need some sort of factory roll bar.

    Thanks for you help!

In the front, the tow hook goes into the P/S vent in the front bumper. The factory gives you only one hook though; you will need to purchase a second one.

With a convertible, you already have the roll bars behind the head rests. Have fun at the track!

Great thanks for the info! Where would it attach in the back?

If you're not aware of this, the Ferrari-supplied tow-hook is in the leather-wrapped tool kit under the front hood.

If I recall correctly, it's behind the license plate (like the Porsches).

running Saturday or Sunday? A bunch of Ferrari drivers will be there Sunday for the AutoX, I might do a few laps to the Roval as well.

With the front stock tow hook you're fine, you need just one in either front or back, two recommended. No tow hook in the back of the F430 available as far as I know.

Most DE track days only require one tow hook.
