    1st has anyone transfered over to mobil one oil -the shell 5w/40 i would have to order from the dealer-or have you used another oil? 2nd i want to wire my V1 radar detector to the dome light-question how do you remove the dome light casing-was looking at it yesterday-it looks like it snaps in but want some advice first thanks van

    I plan to change to mobil 1 when the warranty is over. I have the V1 wired like you say, but the dealer did it for me. I think it cost 100-150. for the labor.

    It only about $150 to get someone to hardwire it, I do it for many of my customers at the time of delivery. We run a serperate wire all the way from the ignition, we don't use the dome light for some reason, I can't remember why.

    Check with Kevin Wright, from Done Wright, he does all our installs.

    You can order the Shell oil from several oil distributors throughout the US and it's a bit cheaper than the dealer if I recall. Just Google Shell Helix.
