    599 IMO

I like the looks of a front engined car better.

I'm a big fan of V-8 Ferraris; tight, fun and very sporty. Even better that they come topless.

But even over a spider, I'd go with the 599 as far as looks are concerned. The 599 is so damned sexy, it's almost absurd. It's got curves that would make Dolly Parton look like a Picasso painting. The 599 must be seen in person to be appreciated. Once she is before you, your eyes trace her lines and you get lost in her body. The 599 is easily Ferrari's best-ever V-12 GT production car.

Better than all that crap they made in the '60s?

Youth is the excuse I peddle for not fostering a deeper appreciation for the GT cars made before my time. I am merely a product of my own immaturity and inability for deep-rooted vintage appreciation and- ah, **** it, yes, even better than the crap they made in the '60s. :)

I'm with the apparent majority, the 599 gets my vote.

Kinda apples and oranges I think....USUALLY I prefer the mid-engined look, but in this case the 599 looks better.

Having seen a 430 but not a 599, I can say that I was impressed with the 430 in the flesh more so than in the pics, so since the 599 looks a little more awkward in pics (depending on the angle), I'm sure it's more beautiful in person. Backward logic, but whatever. I'm dying to see one. BTW, that black one in another thread in the showroom with the black wheels really brought the car out. It looked lowered, but I'm not sure.

    I vote F40 ;)

OK seriously... I think the 599 is VERY color dependent. I can't wait to see one in Black or TDF blue. Only seen red in person so far... Tentative vote for a 599 in dark color.

You should have included a poll. My vote is the 599.

599 no question. 550 was also beautiful but 599 is quantum leap forward in every respect including looks. 430 is an evolution of the 360 which was nowhere near the most beautiful V8 Ferrari

I remember the pic from your "guess why i'm smiling" photo thread... Carbon, since you've seen it in black, do you think dark colors suit it more?

I normally prefer mid-engine designs, but to me the F430 is butt-ugly, literally. The rear end is entirely ungraceful. The superior-to-F40 performance is unquestionable, however.

The 599 is growing on me. I love the curves and agressive face...

    I vote 599 GTB

Is that a serious question...? That's like asking me if I think Anna Nicole Smith looks better than Ally McMeal... Of course...!!!

As I said to someone else recently, there are two kinds of Ferraris: Ferraris, and black Ferraris.

However, with that said, I cannot stress enough how unbelievably sexy the 599, even in red. In black, it's totally game over. But in red, it's still incredibly striking. But I also stress that the car NEEDS to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. I don't know if it was Jason Castriota who penned the body, but whoever it was really outdid themselves. The car is total sex on wheels. Actually, to put it better, sex is total 599 without wheels...!

I vote 599 as well. I have never even seen one in person, but MAN that is a beautiful car. I like the F430 too, but the 599 is smokin'!

    599 GTB over a 430.
but it would be close if compared to a 360CS

Only in looks tho, the 599 GTB is a mechanical masterpiece.

599 all the way. My guess is that it will go on to be a high water mark for Ferrari. ie.250swb, 250gto, 275gtb.

Once you have actually seen, touched, sat in, and smelled a 599, you become completely intoxicated. I never would have thought that before seeing its intro in Pebble Beach

I have to say that it is an incredible car and does not look or feel as big as a 612.

It is quite graceful and beautifully proportioned.

Now don't get me wrong, the 430 is very nice, but the 599 is, well, exceptional in my opinion!

That's now a must have car for me.
