F430 Weathered pillar moulding refurb

    Well to be honest I ummm’d and arrr’d about sharing this post but I am so happy with the result, it has made such a difference to the look of my car, much improved!!

    For some time now this weathered trim has really let my car down, but it took a visit from an ex main dealer techy to point out a simple, cheap, but very effective fix using a mat black body paint from Innotec.

    The replacement LH & RH parts are approximately £360, the spray paint was £20 including postage.

    On to the next job now :D

    Wow, man! I am surprised how weathered that is. It's not something I have seen before. I appreciate the DIY fix. :cool:

    I'm not clear though, on the special characteristic of that Innotec paint. Is it the color, texture or gloss match that makes it a good choice?

    That's great. My 430 has the same issue and being silver I was convinced it was overspray from a repair.
