Do you have an owner's manual with the car? That would tell you. Otherwise, the 360/430 forum may be an even better place to post this.

That symbol is supposed to be the manettino. According to the manual, it means that the switch is not selecting or one of the systems it selects isn't happening.

Per page 35 of the owner's manual:

Indicates a failure of one or more systems that define the selected driving mode.

    Contact the Ferrari Service Network.

Hello dealer service bay, goodbye warranty...

Thank you so much, I guess this means either taking the car back to the service (1,300 km) , or using it without changing drive modes for a while.

I can choose the driving modes just fine, they show up on the dash. So you're saying that although it indicates that the mode is being used, it is not.

At the same time the e-diff sign lights up too.

I suspect it has to do with you chip.
Chip tuning on modern cars with CAN network can cause all sorts of issues.

Why add a chip? Don't you think that Ferrari could get the extra power that the chip supposedly delivers? Of course they can but they choose not to tune the engine to this level for a reason. Why play with settings that Ferrari deems as optimal. After all one of the passions of Ferrari ownership is because they engineer engines with the highest power output within reliable parameters, meet emissions levels and the engines are tailored to the cars chassis and nowadays with the other electronics the car is loaded with. You say that the car is now almost as quick as a Scuderia. Spending money on enhancing driving skills would deliver the extra tenths of a second that you believe the chip has delivered. If the sign was not there before the chip was added then the chip has caused the problem. Also, ECU's are not like early models where a chip replacement was quite easily done, the engine software is not contained in just one chip that can be changed. Deeper programming is required and I have personal doubts that an after market tuner who puts out power chips for various makes can extract extra power without spending a considerable amount of development time in testing the engine under various load conditions. This entails big dollar outlay and the Ferrari market is quite small to warrant this type of outlay. That's my 20 cents worth.

They have a problem with the spiral contact between the steering wheel and the multiplug for the manettino. Try starting the car and while stationary, turn the steering wheel side to side. If the warning pops up on the dash, that's your problem. It's usually accompanied by the illumination on the start button flickering, and an e-diff failure warning.

Exactly what is happening, called the service today, I'm going to send it back in. I doubt that the chip is the cause, because we have numerous 430, 360, and 612s on chip here, and none have any chip-related errors.
