I have a stock F430 with stock wheels now being changed to Gloss Black - but can't source black bolts or even slip on covers - anyone got any ideas - not a fan of the $1500 titanium idea - but open to sensible suggestions. Many thanks.

John- Paint the wheel bolt heads, black chrome or powder coat black and then use a Hill Engineering socket so you do not scratch the finish. If you mask the flats, you would only have to do the wheel bolt ends and you could even use a vinyl wrap material.

I picked the car up this afternoon (in fact it was ready on Weds but I was away). WOW

Amazing job and even replaced the valves with (shhh) McLaren ones!!!!!!!!

To be honest the chrome bolts look OK - much better than I thought they would as the reflection of the gloss black paint means they sort of look black.

Anyway that is an aside. Rimstock have just done an amazing job with 10/10 customer service and I strongly recommend them if you're thinking of having wheels re-done.

Ring Sales and ask for Debbie. They have facilities to store your car, will take you to the nearest station etc. Can't praise enough. A beacon of service etc etc.

I have no connection at all and am so pleased that they were recommended to me.

In terms of the bolts, I have bought a set of Maserati ones - they are all locking, fit the F430 and have chrome slip on covers that can be rubbed down and painted so I have the option of either colour now. The part number is 920002240 (Maserati). The local main dealer tried one in a F430 and it was a perfect fit. Atlanta Ferrari/Maserati told me they had sold loads to Ferrari owners.
