My ceramic brakes are squeeking when I apply light to moderate brake pressure. Any simple way to eliminate? I hate sounding like a bus when slowing.

Mine does the same especially when the brakes are warm after some strong brakes. But it fades when they are cooling off again so this doesn't bother me too much. Are your both front brakes squeeking? Do they squeeke permanently? If they do, I would let your dealer check the alignment of the pads.

    You have two choices,

    A) great brake pads that squeek but can take any abuse you throw at them
    B) pads that don't squeek and are not capable of allowing you to drive the car to its limits

    A third choice also exists:

    C) learn how to unsqueek the brake pads (6-8 rapid decelerations just under ABSing from 80 to 20 MPH accelerating as rapidly as possible back to 80) and then at least 5 minutes of cooling without using the brakes at all.

I like option C. Even if it doesen't work it is always fun.

Pull the tubes that muffle the exhaust at idle and you'll never notice it again.

I get the same issue on my F430 and option (C) will resolve it. "Easy" driving or traffic for a few rides always brings on the noise for me.
