    Hey guys,

Long time lurker, finally signed up.

    So, heres the story:
I disconnect my battery on Saturday to remove some stereo components, and left my battery disconnected overnight. Sunday, I reconnected the battery, and tried to start the car. Nothing. Then about an hour or so later, I try again. It starts this time, says CHECK OK, then the light party starts. CST, EDIFF, F1, Suspension, Brake, and CEL illuminate. The gear indicator shows a hyphen, and the car will not move. After doing a bit of research, I disconnect the battery and F1 ECU for about a minute, reconnect everything, and start the car. Same lights.

Here is a video of what's happening. I understand that I am likely going to need to head to the dealership, but some insight/advice would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Did you disconnect your battery with the rotary switch in the trunk or physically disconnect the Negative cable?

The switch in the trunk leaves power on to the alarm/engine immobilizer

When the battery is completely disconnected the car needs to run through a cal/self test. This can take up to 5 minutes with the key in the ON position (not START).

During that time the car with cycle the clutch, throttles etc to "find' the limits, along with other checks. It won’t start until the entire test has run & passed.

If you try & start the car during this test it will show all kinds of faults.

    In summary.

Turn the key to "ON" position & wait. After 5 minutes or so, turn the key back off.

Remove the key & push the unlock button to make sure the engine immobilizer is off.

Try the start sequence again like you normally would.
