So this only works when the valves are closed? Exhaust only flows through the muffler when the valves are closed, other wise, when open they essentially bypass the muffler.
This will make when valves are closed louder and when the valves open it will be the same as before since the 430 and 360cs bypass the muffler when there open.
Not entirely correct. You see even though your valves are open, the exhaust flow can not ignore the other open path leading thru the X. The majority will flow thru the quickest path out but not all unless there was another valve closing the Xpipe path. Sorry guys I hadn’t logged in many many months. I have this on my 430, stock headers and cats. It sounds absolutely perfect! Loud enough but not crazy and zero drone. Wondering what the sound would be like if all exhaust was forced through the xpipe instead of only a certain amount.
Any chance you can make a video of the car driving? A fly by? I’m looking to get this but really want to head a fly by… If you could do that for me you’d be a hero!!
