Ferrari began F430 production in the latter half of 2004. F430 Spider production picked up right before 2005 started.

 

Sorry to hijack the thread but can you tell me what your sig means?

 

Surely I've received enough PMs about this that someone else can answer.

 

To keep the hijack alive, I'll venture a random guess your signature is the states and freeways you've driven your Fcar on. Am I close?

 

Yes, you're close - if I had a Ferrari, you'd be spot on. The letters are all abbreviations for states in which I've driven, and the numbers are all Interstates on which I've driven. Italicized states and Interstates represent states in and Interstates on which I've driven in a car other than my own, like a rental for example. Underlined Interstates are Interstates on which I've driven start to finish at least one way. Bolded and underlined Interstates are Interstates on which I've driven end to end both ways.

 

If memory serves, European deliveries began late Sept. or Oct. 2004. Moast US dealers got their first cars 2/05.

In April, 2006, I saw an F430 F1 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. It was built in October, 2004, and arrived in the US that same month.

 

Yeah, first 430's were Euro, September 2004.

 

FWIW, it was nearly 12 months later that the first one was delivered in the state where I live - Western Australia. regards, Pete
