I'm really starting to like this car!!! Too bad it is about $200,000 out of my price range right now hahaha =) If anyone picks one up locally bring it out to play! at VIR in 2 weeks.
I saw it two days ago back in the service bay as it was being prepped. The look of the car, in person is just wonderful. It looks more aggressive than a 360 and sounds just outstanding. The carbon fiber interior pieces were beautiful. That particular car was ordered without the CC brakes. No, I didn't take any pictures... I thought the owner might not appreciate it. The big question is will he keep it in NC, or take it south ? I vote for storage in Winston Salem, with an occasional "tune up" provided by yours truly. Window sticker was a hoot.... $188K. A bargain, really. -Daniel
huh I figured sticker would be over $188k.....well then it may not be out of my price range at all hahaha JK
I don't think that picture was taken at the FCI showroom? I don't recognize the building the F430 is in. I really wish it had gotten there a week earlier... when I was home on Spring Break and I would have been able to see it in person...
OK, here's the pix. If it's on the showroom floor, it's fair game. (Pix was taken by Mrs. Eclipse185) The pictures are blurry because she was in tears with the beauty of the F430. Interesting how they placed it next to that hunk of junk 360 spider, huh? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey now, my other car is a 360 spider! Of course you know she had to call me to brag about touching it, even though it had "Do Not Touch" signs on it. She can be very rebellious at times. JRR: Did you not post the one of the Enzo because "it wasn't on the showroom floor"? That one was good looking as well. I plan on going over Wednesday night to view both.
You'll see plenty of the Enzo at VIR. We're going to be treated to some outstanding sights, sounds, and speeds.
You mean this Enzo?? I think I might take a trip up to FCI during the day to look at it and head over to Elizabeth's Pizza in Greensboro for Lunch. I heard their Pizza is unbelievable and if you are coming towards the VIR track stop in Burlington NC at Vesuvio's Italian Pizzeria. Awesome Italian food and I notice their is a guy from the FCI place that stops on occasion to eat. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That be 'da Enzo Honestly, the best pizza in Greensboro is at NY Pizza on Tate Street. The owner usually parks his 550 Maranello outside (when he's not ripping through the Piedmont chasing my car!) Elizabeths is o.k..... but NY Pizza is the real deal.
You all need to come to VIR this weekend...that is where the real cars and action will be....showrooms are showrooms...the track is where it's at! Ciao' Steve www.sportauto.cc where car enthusiasts work and shop
Oh believe me... I can't wait for this weekend. Sadly... I have a paper due Friday at Midnight! Gotta get it done before that!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
With the F430 on the floor, has FCI lowered the asking prices on their 360s? Always seemed very high IMO.
Elizabeth's Pizza is great! Used to eat at the one in W-S while at Wake on a weekly basis. It's not NY quality though.
Best Pizza...Randy's Pizza here in Durham. Randy owned and ran a pizza joint in NY, came down here for something...did not like what he was ;but liked it here; so he opened another pizza joint here.
