Better enjoy seeing the car today as the next time Jeffrey will drive it may very well be 6 months or more from now...:)

Man, I love these. The mirror was designed that way to fit the curve of the rear buttress, in case you were wondering.

Fantastic! Hope I get a chance to see one someday. Definately, my favorite Ferrari.

Albert and Tony - Good seeing both of you today. Been a while! Albert - your camera takes an awesome photo. I didn't think the lighting this morning was good enough to shoot anything decent.

Eddie - I hate to say it but you're probably right! :(

You can see the weave in that shot of the fender shield.

Still the best Ferrari supercar in my opinion.

I just think it is great that you bring it out at all. I would love to see one on the ground, the only one I ever saw, which was giallo, was on a lift at Ferrari of Central Florida. It's rear wing was on the ground, but that doesn't count.

Jeffrey, thank you for taking this car out and letting people get a chance to see such a rare and beautiful machine.

Jeffrey, it was great to finally meet you.

What a sight to behold! I've seen some really wild stuff at Cars & Coffee since I moved here, but the F50 holds a special place in my heart. I was a teenager when it came out, and I was instantly blown away by it. It was my favorite car of all time, for a long time. Thanks for bringing it out, Jeff!

    FML.

    Why am I in Nashville?

    Best car ever. :D

    Props on bringing her out!

Edit: That steering wheel is not factory, correct? And Carb, any one of those cars to me is like 134282 to you. Just, splooge. Would give my left testicle for one of them.

Actually, quite a bit more. :)

Great pictures, I dont think anyone ever forgets the first time they see and F50, saw my first one about 5 years ago at a track day and can still vividly remember that the sound of that V12 and say what you want but seeing an F50 in person and seeing one in a magazine is a very different experience.

It appears he's sporting the MACarbon wheel seen here previously.

Good eye! You actually won't believe how many F40s and F50s I've seen where the weave is no longer visible. Such a pity since it's really a work of art when you can see the weave. It's definitely a way to tell if one of these has been repainted or repaired in its life.

No thanks necessary Ryan. I wish I could drive it more! Being the closest street car Ferrari ever built to an actual F1 car makes it a truly special machine. The engine/chassis, etc. is a direct twin to what was used in the 333SP and the 1991 Jean Alesi F1 car. It makes the F50 literally a F1 car in street clothing (detuned of course). There's even a YouTube video of the comparison that is very interesting. You either love the F50 or you don't.

Carbon - Great meeting you as well! It's easy to understand why the F50 is a special car and I think it will gain more popularity as time goes on. The F40 is the supercar most kids knew (and dreamed about) and is a very special car in its own right. But I have to admit that the F50 is the next step above and beyond in every aspect.

The steering wheel - as Bill S shows in his photo - is not factory. I have the factory steering wheel nicely stored away and replaced it with the MaCarbon wheel with the carbon fiber top. The interior dash on the F50 is carbon fiber as are the doors, etc. The factory wheel looks out of place whereas the MaCarbon wheel looks like it should have been there from the get go.

There is no sound like the V12 in a Ferrari when it's not muffled. I have the full Tubi header/exhaust system which emits a nice tuned sound (not too loud). It actually shoots flames under acceleration/gear shifts! :)

AWESOME CAR!!! Fantastic pictures as well! I THINK I have seen this exact car. I was in Newport Beach in 2005 and I was in Newport Autosport when I saw a red F50 pull up to the stop light. Absolutely GORGEOUS machine!

With only 50 specimens originally imported to the US, I think it's safe to say, not very many people have been fortunate enough to even ride in one. I am one of those fortunate ones ... Thanks Jeffrey for swinging by to pick me up ... I think you know how much I appreciate it.

    Your buddy

Good eye! Yes. I changed the turn signals since I couldn't stand the US spec orange ones (they too are safely stored away!). :)

    No prob G. Anytime. :)

Because of my age, 25, the F50 was the supercar I always drooled over. It also took much longer to see one in person, saw plenty of F40s and Enzos prior to seeing my first F50.
