I have been searching for a USA model F50.....recently ran across a Euro model. I started thinking, if car is fully EPA'd and DOT'd, what is the difference between the euro and the USA model anyhow?

Can someone give me a clue as to where to look. Also, since so few were made, what is the difference in values?

Have a look at an F50 parts book, the differences are easily seen. There is a list on here somewhere as well. The changes are mainly safety and emmissions related; but the list is extensive and expensive. I don't think I have seen pics of a Euro car in the states that has had all the changes, so I am not sure if all are required?

The US/Euro debate only counts in the US, so perhaps call someone like Sheehan?

you should get full vin# and have it checked with EPA and DOT to make sure it has been approved and the import bond released.

many games have been played with grey market ferrari's.

    be very careful

IMO, the owner is asking a bit much for this car. I was 99% sure it was the same one Terry offered earlier this summer, and now I'm 100% sure.

the conversion is roughly $75,000 give or take, and can take up to 12 months. only 1995 cars can be converted due to ODB II change in 1996 in the US.
