really, i would be intersted in hearing your ownership experiences for both of these cars that you are drawing this conclusion from.

Its his car if he wants to sell it then best of luck for a fast and painless sale

that's not a bad price for an F50 (if you wanted one). Plus very low
K's. I don't understand why you would want to change from an F50 to a hairdresses car.

Such a shame. I remember when you first got the car only a few months ago. Shame to see her go.

Mileage that low isn't exactly a good thing. That thing probably sat dormant for years.

    That price isn't that good.

That car was bought last year with near zero miles on it for a similar price, and now it's miles are just "normal"!

It's nearly 100k $US too pricey I reckon, but I guess he'll take an offer.

    Nice car

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I have driven the CGT for over 5000km now. I have to see it is an excellent car despite what the review said. I think the reason why so many complaints from owners is they don't drive it enough to learn the car. Anyhow, I guess the F50 is really undervalued now that I just need to find a permanent solution for parking for my either the F50/CGT (parking is really tight in Hong Kong). For the price the gentleman mentions, I would rather keep the car as I canno think of any other cars with similar credentials I can buy for low US$400k. Will post some pictures of my well-used CGT later to share with all of you.

    cool.

i've never been a big Porsche fan, but when i first saw pics and specs of the CGT it made me drool. only other Porker to do that to me was the GT3RS... but that was only when i saw it in the flesh, in pics it did nothing for me, but now for some reason those same pics are dam sexy to me. :)

yet to see a CGT in person, but quite sure it'd give me the shivers.

You might want to talk to www.carcity.com.hk. I am sure they can find a buyer for you in Hong Kong.

Your car is worth more at retail than Ferrarifixer is suggesting. Actually it's worth more wholesale than Phil is suggesting.
    IMHO

Depends where you shop... you won't be getting any UK buyers at the advertised price, that's for sure. Plenty of more affordable cars there......

Aussie prices are so stupidly high (taxes) compared to the rest of the world, it looks ok here.... i guess that's why he shot a link to the Aussie thread......

My opinion... private or 15yr import your own car once you've found it elsewhere....

Really low mileage cars are getting pretty rare now, remembering the F50 is up to 10yrs old. You can definitely find cheaper cars in Europe; but they may be "story" cars or high mileage/poor condition. Even worse, they may be phantom cars or stolen property. Lots of other factors come into play too.

I am sure you have seen some of the F40/F50's in "as landed" condition........
Imagine what a 40,000km one looks like *shudder*

If you buy from a dealer, you are always going to pay a premium- none of us work for free. Lots of advantages; but they come at a price of course.

I don't think I am asking for an unreasonable price, given the condition of the car. I have done a lot of research before I purchased the car and I simply could not find something cheaper with similar condition and documentation. At least one of the items is missing. I believe when you are paying this car for a car, you want everthing to be perfect. Anyway, I am not trying to justify the price as I really don;t have to sell it. THis is just my 2-cents opinion.

Which bit is missing Nick? Do you mean the driving boots? The carbon fibre backed presentation book/brochure ?

I think he meant on every other car he looked at something was missing - not on his ;)

Thanks for the correction. I meant every other car I have looked at, there was something missing.
