    I have a f50 gas cap that ins set in solid leather, the gas cap is working etc, and has key etc..

    my question is, I haven not been able to findd any others, and wonder if anyone else has seen them.

    I can upload pics if needed

    It is an F40 gas cap. I have the same "Ferrari idea" gas cap pictured.
    FWIW, the F50 gas cap looks like the oil cap on a 360 Modena's gearbox.

    Hello :)

    So can you remind me why I got this, or what they made them for ??

    I do like them alot, and have one at home and one at my office, and everyone that see's them says they like it, and I can never find any more.

    Not sure what you mean. The Ferrari idea range has been going for about 15yrs. It is an officially licensed product range and is normally a Ferrari related item on a schedoni leather base. In the late 80's and early 90's there was a whole range of parts mounted on leather bases. I collected them for a time. There is the following in the range: Boxer wheel spinner, F1 piston, F1 valve set, F40 Petrol cap, F1 intake trumpet and possibly more that I didn't buy. I got them through the local F-Dealer.
    FWIW, the F40 cap is much nicer than the F50 version fitted to the cars.
