    Judging by the recent review posted here, the F50 seems to be a phenomenally involving/exciting car and hence one that I would like to purchase someday. My question for you guys is, what would it take to significantly upgrade the performance on the stock F50 to more closely resemble the F50 GT? aside from turbos, is it safe to say an increased redline to 10,500 would work for the horsepower? obviously weight needs to be reduced as well, possibly by driving it on an empty stomach.

    The F50 will never be an F50GT. You would have to put atleast different cams and maybe do a little head work and a different intake to get it to rev to 10,500 to begin with. Just extending the rev limiter would do nothing because if the car was making more horse up top it would of been tuned that way from Ferrari. So with that said you would have some cash into it just making it rev that high.
