Can I get a thread started similar to the F40 thread (god knows i love f40s) except with F50 pics? I'd like to see what colors the F50 has been transformed to. Any rosso fiorano F50s? Can someone photoshop it? And a Rosso Fiorano Enzo while your at it?

No. Rosso barchetta is as close as you'll get (which isn't very close)

that is just beautiful. the f50 has got to be the most beautiful car ever made! i love the f40, i love the 355, i love the 250 TR, i love them all, but man i LOVE the lines on the f50. and there's no disappointment in engines noises either, although I have yet to here one at WOT in person.

I did see one in Myrtle Beach when I was younger, a black one. No idea if it was authentic or not-- I wasnt the ferrari buff I am now. It must have been 8 or 9 years ago, making that a brand spankin new f50. We were at the entrance to the beach and he came around the circle by the sidewalk, creeping slowly by. A 40-50ish guy wearing sunglasses with the top off. Scarred me for life! :)

now do f-fifties COME with the bodycolor in the headlights, or is that an option? I've seen several with bodymatched and several with just unpainted carbon fiber (or painted black, hard to tell from the pics of seen)

I've wondered that as well. I've seen them both ways.

i'm not sure why exactly some are "bodycolored" and others are darker but either
    1. the darker lights are the Euro version of the F50 and the lighter ones are not or ...
    2. the lighter ones are the 1995 F50 and the darker ones are the 1997 F50

actually i'm trying to sound smarter than I really am, i'm not sure which of those 2 is true, if any :) somebody else help

seems to me like the red cars have red lights, and often the yellow cars have black lights. I haven't looked through my photo galleries, but that's just my recollection

Has anyone else noticed that the US spec F50s seem to have more pronounced lip spoilers on the front than Euro cars? I thought it was just me at first but it is pretty clear on the pictures on here.

So in the US you have-

orange indicators (do you call them turn signals?)

    bizarre motorised seat belts

and maybe more downforce on the front?

Are there any other differences? Is it right that you got the F50 with the full 513bhp? Does anyone know more about the thinking behind the changes to that front spoiler?

Emissions are different. Different front spoiler (dunno if there is a downforce change), orange indicators (yes, americans do call them turn signals. i'm a brit so its all good ;) ), strange seatbelts, rear brake light (i think).

I'm sure there are more but those are off the top of my head.

They changed the spoiler to agree with laws. Something about hitting pedestrians so it has to be a different size.

Go here for more info on importing an F50:
