Absolutely stunning!! I recognize the significance of the F40, but the design of the F50 boils my blood more than the F40 and Enzo. Congratulations again!
Awesome pics! Glad to see you drug it outside in this 100+ degree heat. That's a very pleasing car to the eyes. I can only imagine what it would do to my adrenaline.lol
I'd love and appreciate it if you could send me the hi res shots as well. [email protected] Thanks in advance.
Wonderful photos and congrats again on adding one of my all-time favorites to your stable of italian horses and other motoring classics. I am curious if you plan to have the headlight housings painted or replaced with a set of the more appropriate red colored ones? Looks fine as-is, but traditionally red F50's were the ones with body-color headlamps and the others were all black as I recall. >8^) ER
I was wondering the same thing. It's kind of unique as it is and it's instantly recognizable from the front as the former Azzuro California F50.
The lights are a single piece sealed unit. You have to VERY carefully separate the perspex from the body of the light itself. Then paint and reseal the perspex to the body of the light. When you reseal you have to be careful with the sealer to get a nice "even" line around the lip of the perspex itself. There can also be colour variation between the body of the car and the painted light due to the perspex "distortion" if not carefully matched. So it is possible to do; but not as easy as it may seem. Some shots of mine with original black lights and it's second set of painted yellow ones. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Def updates the look of the car with the color matched headlamps.. 410SA, your car is unique though because of the black headlamps.. I reckon it differs from car to car, but 360C and 410SA both cars are magnificent! Any other plans such as tubi's, putting the hardtop on etc?
Alex- You're making it real hard for me not justifying a trip to see you and Roxy with that collection you are amassing. Best of luck with the F-50. Great collection.
