For the introduction of the Ferrari F50 one of the color choices available was Rosso Barchetta a dark non-metallic shade of red. Someone noted that only 6 customers specified this color for their F50. Does anyone have pictures they can share of one of the 6 cars painted that color. I believe one of the 6 has already been repainted yellow...
    Thanks
    CH

Wow, that is one amazing color. I'm suprised that not many people didn't order that color.

I love Rosso Barchetta. The VP of Marketing for PCNA ordered a C4S that was Rosso Barchetta. The car looked absolutely amazing in the color. It was crazy because everyone in the office was talking about the Porsche with the Ferrari paint so I checked it out and knew the color by name. He said that he had always loved the color since he was a kid and wanted to see what it would look like on a Porsche. I never knew there were a couple F50s with the color. I am a huge fan of a lot of the older colors coming back, just like this, and those available now on the 612.

i have some pictures of 2 rosso barchetta F50 ,s , taken before the digital era unfortunately , they were taken around 1996 . one of the cars in wilmslow , uk , at the old stratstone dealership , i will figure out how to get them onto f chat if it kills me , the other one was of the famous racing F50 that regularly raced at oulton park , cheshire , i dont know if they are of the same car or not , i believe it was the racing F50 that was shipped to USA and repainted yellow , when i eventually get my brain in gear i will post the pics. I know this doesnt really help this thread but i thought i would share it with you all ,

Andy thanks for making the effort to scan the old pictures! Very nice to see, especially the head on shot with the picture behind the F50 in the showroom. Interesting company it's keeping with the Euro F40 to.
