I know the pohot is of the Murc GTR but I didnt have 1 of the Spyder.

Anyways which do you think would be more fun for just cruising ?

The F50 is almost twice the $ of the MS, Sheesh thats a Lot of smack

BTW, just saw a topless F50 in South Beach today, NICE!!!!!!!!!! :)

I'd take that over a Schmenzo any day of the week

    F50 over an Enzo/Murci. Easily.

The price difference, frankly, is probably largely because of rarity and allure/mystique. The F50 and Murci spyder would probably be similarly fast.

Is the F50 worth twice as much as the Murci spyder? It would be to me, even though I know I could probably go just as fast in the Murci and have a more modern car. Is the F50 even worth twice as much as the F40? Again, I think that price difference is because of rarity.

I'd rather have an F50 by far, as it's one of my favorites, but I'd buy it knowing that the premium I was paying over, say, a Murci spyder, was kind of ridiculous in substantive, non-emotional terms.

    But cars are emotion...

An F40 is worth $300-325,000, the Murcielago Roadster is $325,000 and the F50 is in the $700,000 range. So the F40 and a Murcielago or just one F50? Hmmm. If I could only pick one though, F50 it is.

Murci Spyder is a strange looking beast to me ... but I have never seen one in the flesh. The bit that I find really strange is the black sharp looking panel behind the drivers and passengers heads ... weird, what is going on there?

The coupe looks beaut ... but the spyder is one confused looking car to me. 360 Spyder looks better to me.

It is short sighted to simply say, "The F50 costs twice as much".

If the money is "there" (which presumably it is or this would not be a legit question), then you should consider what the car will be worth when you get rid of it.

The Murci Roadster will depreciate $50 grand in the first few months. I don't remember the guys name, but someone just posted that traded in their Murci on a Challenge Stradale. They took delivery of the Murci in April of this year and lost $76,000 in that 7 month span. I don't think the roadster will lose its value that quickly right now (due to relative rarity), but surely it will not hold its value like an F50.

Plus, it would be cool to have a third F50 owner on the board!

I don't think price is as much of an issue as it's being made out to be. Case in point: buy a brand new Merci roadster and an F50 today. Five years from now you will probably have lost 50% or more on the Lambo whereas the F50 could very easily appreciate during that time, but if not, you certainly won't be losing much.

As far as the cars themselves, I defer to amenasce's comparison.

One final note, both of these cars seem like extreme overkill for "fun for just cruising." A 360 Spider would probably be at least as good as either.

Since the NNO wasn't part of the question but was brought it into the discussion anyway, i'd have to go for the NNO over both the F50 and the MS, together... :)

F50 looks great, but parts must be impossible to get? (didn't someone here have to replace a dash cover or something... and it was $40,000 and 8 months?)

If you're going to drive the car a lot, go with the Lambo.

F50 is art, and a collector car.

This is a very good point, though I think Koby puts it even more succinctly.
