I have a F355 which was rebuilt with a 512tr Engine/Transmission 1999. The exhaust is a Tubistyle. There are not cats. The problem is that the tubes are only 50mm and the Tubistyle are 60mm. Makes that sense? Not to little. I loose Power? Capristo and Fuchs are bigger....
Next Question Makes a X-Pipe Sense /Kreissieg? More Power? Other Sound?
    Thanks Tim

He just means that it's remarkable that you were able to fit a much larger engine into the same space (but having the gearbox underneath the engine on the 512TR makes the overall length of both total powerplants about the same -- although it looks like the engine cover was made taller on your car to clear the 512TR intake plenums). You probably are giving away a very small amount of maximum HP by having those interconnecting pipes only being 50mm, and not 60mm, where it goes down to a single pipe -- but that section is only about 0.5 m long. They should be made more like those 512TR precat bypass pipes in your photo where the two pipes are 50mm where they join to the exhaust header and then they join into a single 60mm pipe to attach to the muffler inlet.

Not sure about using an X-pipe configuration, but the one in that vividracing photo look too small to me. Whatever you do, it will be totally custom ;).

F355 from 1997. Engine/transmission from 512TR 1992, higher compression by head grinding, valves polished and intake ports polished, improved engine software direct from Ferrari, advanced valve timing, exhaust by Tubistyle. Additional weight 65kg, since the air conditioning has been omitted.
Since the transmission is under the engine and not behind the engine as before, the balance is right.
Ferrari liked the conversion very much, but it did not fit into the model planning. The flat-twelve engine was dead for them and there were never two different engines in a Ferrari. It is therefore the last Ferrari with a flat-twelve engine. The more modern body, lighter with much better chassis than the 512TR, but with the classic flat-twelve engine. He got a reinforced transmission input shaft from Germany and now Challenge wings, and rear grill. Stradale mirrors, different brakes, 550 Maranello rims, Imola front spoiler. In the back it was widened from metal with F40 tank cap conversion, hood converted. Rear axle cage rebuilt. Rebuilt inside....other electronics...
