2021 F8 Spider in for annual service, has had no issues and has always been on a tender. Apparently it failed a load test, no shock there as we all know the OEM batteries are garbage. Car is 4 years old so no surprise.

No error messages, no cranking issues, car has been fine (5300 miles). I think I have a few choices here:

    1. Have the service center replace with OEM battery, they want $940 parts (500)/ labor (440). I don't love this idea as another junk battery then goes in.

    2. Find a good replacement and have them put that in instead.

    3. Do nothing as it is working, wait for actual failure.

I am leaning towards #2, what is the best replacement that is easily obtainable? Not looking to spend 3k or whatever on a lithium battery at this time.

Do #2... I have used Interstate Battery in a 2019 488 and now in my 2021 F8 with zero issues. Much stronger than the OEM.
