Just for another reference point I thought I would add the below to this thread. I am looking at trading in my f8 spider with novitec exhaust (still have original exhaust) for an SF90. Out of three dealership I discussed this with, the one in North Carolina pretty much said no and way undervalued the trade in, but the one in Texas (official Ferrari) and the one in California (not official Ferrari), gave me full trade in value for the car.
F8 gets here at some point this week. Probably won’t get everything on until end of next week. Will def update as soon as everything is on and Ive driven it a bit. Fingers crossed…..
Are you highlighting the fact that dealerships will take the car with aftermarket exhaust? If so, I have had the Same experience. Few dealerships were fine with taking my pista spider as is with after market exhaust but the one I ended up selling it to wanted it full OEM, so I put back the OEM exhaust back on. I also had an aftermarket apple carplay which the dealer pulled out at no charge. Was Not a big deal. No drama
When I traded in my 488 for my F8 ...my 488 had Novitec springs on it. Dealer did not care but said they need the stock springs too which I had. They did not want the HRE wheels though and said keep them and sell them yourself. Thy said they'd prefer the 488 stock and could give me a little more if it was stock but buy the time I paid and got the Novi's off and stock on it would be a wash with labor and time trying to get this done.
