Absolutely painful to watch. Didn’t find it funny or creative at all. Just another punk YouTuber to me.

i actually thought the car held up quite well. and id like to see identical testing of a brand new Artura and Technica. i had no problem with his videos. they are harmless. and ill admit, i watched, they are entertaining for a minute. he bought the car. a mass produced car. just an expensive one.. he can do anything with it. this would only bother me if he tried to sell it and didn't disclose the history.

Lol at ‘mass produced’. Some people’s sarcastic undertones are amusing. Yes, it’s a production car as opposed to a limited specialty car, but it is not mass produced as car standards go. Does it make you feel nice inside to subtlety demean? Silly people. ‍♂️

But yes, I agree that it’s his prerogative to do whatever he wants with his own car. Hard to watch but that’s what gets him over 5M views in a week on YouTube alone. Weird world.

Agreed on the fact that the F8 actually did incredibly well. Makes me feel better about how I drive mine... :)

But at the end of the day, to me it's just a matter of taste and sense of humor. This is just not my cup of tea and I find it tasteless. Of course everyone is free to do whatever the hell they want, but that doesn't make it less terrible.

yes, his business, a very profitable one, and is based on getting peoples attention. id say he's doing ok. nothing wrong with it and were actually seeing how the car holds up to things we would never test on our own. why is everyone so sensitive? its his damn car. who cares!

You being sarcastic, I hope... :)

I don't give give a crap about the fact that it's his car. If a kid buys a piece of art that's taken decades of experience and craft to create, and throws it around or beats it up in a way it's not even close to what it was built to be, just to grab attention and views, I still find it pretty painful and certainly tasteless. And I don't see myself as being sensitive. I believe whoever doesn't find it total POS is actually being insensitive. But that's my personal POV... :)

The funny thing is everyone who is criticizing the video and commenting how disgusting it is is accomplishing exactly what the video was meant to. Get views so the poster can make money. Every comment brings it to the top of the threads, causes more people to watch which increases the view count. The best thing to do is not comment, not watch it and let it die off. (My post in no way supports or detracts from the video, just making an observation)

art, and a car that came off an assembly line with hundreds just like it before and after it. and is meant to be driven in rain, dirt, mud, potholes, traffic, smog, traffic, road debris, and on and on are the same? did you really just compare something you hang on a wall (or wherever) and stare at to something designed to be a form of transportation? i know we all cherish our cars and look at them as a "work of art" but im sorry your comparison is a stretch and not the same at all. in my humble opinion of course. im sorry, i personally just cant get upset with some dude buying an object, and then doing what he wants with it. who cares. just worry about your own car. and yeah, look him up. he is making money.....Ferrari money apparently

Ouch, I had already seen a video of this guy destroying a light plane.

I know nothing about social media, but I doubt he´s making any money from this.

Not sure what you mean by that. It is exactly what he is doing. Making a ton of money. The video has 5.4 million views. You get about $18 per 1000 views. So at 5.4 million views that’s $97,200. That’s not including revenue from ad partners or other sources of YouTube revenue.

Hey, that's why we're both complex human beings, with our own POV, and we live happily in a democracy. I wholeheartedly disagree with your POV, starting with the fact that all Ferraris are pieces of art on wheels. End of the convo...

"I know nothing about social media, but I doubt he´s making any money from this." .....................i did a quick google for you............................"The global social media market grew from $193.52 billion in 2022 to $231.1 billion in 2023 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19.4%."......................do you really not think the one and only guy buying brand new Ferraris and wrecking them isn't going to get views on SM? and views=$$$

You don't get nearly that much. If you're lucky its like $6-7 per view, more likely its in the $3-5 range though. I doubt he makes money off that video alone. But its an investment in his channel in the future that will likely pay off.

Think you mistyped something there. $6 per view would be amazing and we should all quit our jobs and create videos. Lol. The various articles range from $5 per 1000 to $18. Who knows.

Then I´ve understimated the profitabiity of Youtube videos.

This is more in line with I was thinking. Maybe he´s loosing money with this video but getting subscribers.

Not so long ago there videos of people destroying brand new phones or cameras and it was already bizarre. Now they´re doing the same with planes and expensive cars. Oh, well, interesting times I suppose.

Well I meant per 1000 views. I have a Youtube channel (small and unrelated) and it gets $6 per thousand views. Speaking with lots of other folks that's on the high end of things as well. In addition the $ per view usually trends downwards as videos get more popular.

The F8 did incredibly well throughout the video. Honestly, much better than I expected going up the ATV hill and through the wooded area.

It pained me to watch it get dinged up, but it is what it is. I see a lot of people complaining about art and other things in here, which are fine points, but let me ask you this. What about the first person who owned the car (prior to WhistlinDiesel), who only had it for 3k miles. Why are so many Ferrari owners like this? Was it a flip job, or a garage queen? At least the car is being driven, and WhistlinDiesel is going to fix the dents and scratches on the car and DRIVE it for however long he has it.

He muds his cars and trucks. Hes a country kid. He's going to be rough with the F8, but hes also going to fix what needs fixing and drive the dang thing. No harm no foul in my book. Not to mention, the entire point of the video was poking fun at Ferrari for wanting to sue people who defacing their IP. He was seeing if this qualified. It was all field research ;)
