FWIW , I have the Forza valve controller and it’s not much help. Maybe 15 pct better. It did throw a couple of Cels that went away on its own.

Right, you are removing items that Ferrari have on the car.

If you wish to do so , power to you.

Yeah it sounds really sweet. Todd would like it. This is an exhaust modification thread, you know.

By the way, not that long ago, Ferrari didn’t have to put GPF’s on the car. If it wasn’t mandated, the car wouldn’t have them. It’s not like Enzo dreamt about adding this nonsense.

But Ferrari failed us here in the US, not required and they just made one universal exhaust for worldwide using the highest restrictions (EU)

I am seriously considering selling my F8. I want to get back to doing some track events mostly but although the F8 is a fantastic car I am not having fun and enjoying driving it around much. It's weird to be so excited to get a great spec'd F8 finally and then after 9 months with it start thinking I'm over it.

Not sure if I just list it for sale and deal with everyone that contacts me..or take it to my local Ferrari dealer and cosign it.

I'm taking the car to my dealer tomorrow for an oil change and will see about consigning...just did the yearly service last month and even though the oil was changed 1 year ago, Ferrari said NO to the oil change. It is what it is.

What would you replace it with? I know you've talked about a twelve cylinder in the past.

Let us know what you do.
If you will be buying Ferraris in future then go with dealer route, cosign with them.
If not then sell where you get most money for it.

    Good luck.

Lastly, for tracking: what are you thinking? Porsche?

Since its a F8 i will go as far to say the loss in $$ won't be much. Decisions right now are really critical. A 25% Tariff is going to totally send the second hand market CRAZY, more so than Covid.

Sorry to hear mate. I don't track and given the speed laws I found the 488GTB to be great.

I'm waiting for the next Jap car not to replace the 488 but as a daily.

    Word is RX7 , New Supra , MR2 , Celica coming :)

Give me 400 HP and a stick and ill be happy.

992.1 GT3s still too pricey but maybe coming down? I’d say pick up a C8 Z06; either used or over supply sitting on dealership lots- they are selling below MSRP now.

I’d prefer a Porsche GT, just awesome well built, engineered cars but not paying over msrp, especially used…F that. Not really sure. Part of me would rather have the money than the car these days. I guess I’m not feeling it anymore

What about a truck? Something like what @Eric C has? Maybe he'd sell it to you once he gets the amps rebuilt.

    I hear you..
Check out 991.2 GT3 RS ? At msrp.
992.1 gen GT3 and GT3RS are way over msrp but they are coming down, for sure.

By reading your comment, hmmm take a break. And come back when ready, stronger. Gotta enjoy it, otherwise not worth it...

No matter what you buy, you will "get over it". Go vintage. That is where the real fun is. The new stuff is fast and whatever. The old stuff gets the respect. Any burger flipper can finance an F8. You can't finance a Testarossa.

‘this is correct. This is why GPF delete is illegal in the US even though GPF not mandated (yet) on US cars. Once the car is CARB approved for import, the GPF becomes mandated by proxy.

Yeah I understand all that but i'm too tall for the small old cars and I don't have a left leg to push a clutch. Even when i had 2 legs and younger more nimble I tried to sit in a guys 355 ..so uncomfortable

That is great to hear. I thought the whole point of the Novitec Tectronic was to eliminate CELs with their exhaust systems installed, has anyone had CELs even with Tectronic installed?
I'm thinking of going Novitec inconel valved with either 100 cell or 200 cell sport cats (don't want to do full de-cat for fumes and annual UK MOT reasons).
Anyone gone 100 cell and had any issues?
