thanks for your useful information.
Those are really nice mods. Great job. I bought my F8 in 2020 and I’ve been considering adding a similar subwoofer and tweeters from Scuderia Audio. Also, I’ve looked into installing ALP laser jammers, but my installer in Hawaii hasn’t been sure of where to place the front and rear sensors. Would you mind posting close up photos of the front and rear placement? Thanks very much.
I ended up not using the sub from Scuderia Audio but have something similar. The new TX sensor does not have to be as high off the ground as the prior generation tech so that helps with the front placement. I may have them change it when I head back to ATL for my annual. Image Unavailable, Please Login I prefer the acrylic panel look that Showtime Audio in Chicago did for @Brian Sadler. Thanks very much! This is very helpful. I'm inspired now to complete these mods that I've just been thinking about.
Hey, I finally picked up the F8S. I let Samantha have the inaugural drive. Drove it right to the PPF for full treatment and window tint. More pics and my impressions a bit later. I will be doing some mods, probably exhaust and wheels at a minimum. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congrats William! Beautiful. Looking forward to a trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway one of these days. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Sorry to revive a dead thread, but I he didn’t you use the sub? Beautiful mods. Any updates to them and your F8?
Thanks Ivan. I haven’t done anything to it since other than enjoy it. Up to 5800 miles now. I did not understand your question “but I he didn’t you use the sub?” Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I'm frequent in speaking retard. He was asking why you decided not to use the optional sub when you upgraded your sound system..
Lmao, I had a stroke. I meant to type why but somehow put “ I he”. Thank god my wrangler, Eric was nearby
Glad to see us working this out together…. [emoji4] I did not spec the upgraded system because Scuderia Audio’s solution at the time worked best (electrically?) with the standard system. Either OEM system from the factory, just from reading reviews, were probably going to fall short of my expectations for a $380k+ exotic. So I went with the basic and upgraded from there. I know, I know….‘the only sound system you need is behind you’. Whatever. [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Hey Andy, just came across this chat searching for how to black out my side markers. I'm taking delivery of my F8 Tomorrow then right over to the PPF shop. When you say, "painted" side markers, how or who painted them? is it easy and how much did that cost. Gorgeous car BTW!
Thank you! Ferrari of Atlanta had a local shop literally paint the markers body color. Can’t recall the cost but it was minimal and quick. On my Bianca Avus/Nero roof 488 GTB, I covered them with a wrap in black. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Yes. It’s on the side not middle but slightly angled to capture everything. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Wow, just saw this list of all you did! Amazing! I love everything (well, except the stereo and floor mats lol)... especially interesting that you lowered the stock springs and added spacers... would love to see that in person. This car is gorgeous brother! love the interior as well.
C’mon Todd….the mats and stereo rock! And I’m not typically a big stereo guy but I do like cranking out some 80’s rock every now and then. With my gpf delete I really need to blast it over the sound of the engine. It’s therapeutic kinda like this: https://coub.com/view/1to75k Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Superb. How is it been for almost 2 years ? Lastly any issues or CEL with exhaust? I have heard F8s are more sensitive to exhaust updates..
