    Does the owners manual say anything about the maximum percentage of ethanol that is recommended without damaging the fuel system? I have seen some owners manuals for other cars say up to 25%

    I only put Esso Supreme 99+ with 0% ethanol in both my 812 and RS WP.

    In my g80 m3 the owners manual states i can do up to e25 (3.5 gal e85 per tank) without significant long term effects on the fuel system. I know about moisture and line corrosion etc, but they said its ok and car feels like it had a tune lol. It would be an easy way to temporarily pump up the hp by adding octane … pure e85 is clean and is like 110 oct. too bad :(

    No way I would put Ethanol in my car. Be careful here. Other impurities content begin to rise as well. Why do that especially if it’s not your only option?

    We only have e10 where i live. Thats what the f8 will get unfortunately. I stick to the owners manual in general and do the best i can with what ive got.

    I understand completely. You might want to consider using a fuel additive. I will ask about this for you at my Ferrari Dealer this weekend. I’m going to see the 296. I know one of the mechanics pretty well.

    For winter i add fuel stabilizer to a full tank if i dont drive for extended periods
