Update……my STO arrives at the dealer on Thursday. As great as this sounds, it is sooner than expected and now I need to hustle to sort out some logistical issues. I was certain all along I would simply get a text stating “come get your car”, which is pretty much the way it’s gone down. Worse problems exist, I know. As soon as I have some pics to post up, I’ll do so. Will probably be at least a week and some before I can cut loose to get to the dealer. Could be a first on this forum. Car arrives, new owner says “ oh no! “……….

Arrived yesterday (no, it's not the reveal). I won't get down to the dealer until next week sometime to take delivery. Image Unavailable, Please Login
My stepdad is first generation Italian immigrant to Canada: his mom had furniture in plastic too. My neighborhood was largely Italian and Eastern European (Ukraine, Hungary, Lithuanian) immigrants who worked in the various steel forges in town. Same for their houses!
Outside of a STO review from Royal who only rented the car for a short time, no owner has thus far offered their driving impressions of the STO. Puzzling.
The STO feels lighter than the Perf. It feels more nimble, RWS really helps when parking or making sharp turns. It's not twitchy for a RWD car like the 580 and EVO RWD. Steering feels sharper and tighter. The Bridgestones ride better than the Pirelli's and seem to have more grip and less road noise. The Perf exhaust is louder but my dealer said they can disconnect the valves on the STO to address the sound.
I think we’ll start to see more feedback now that these are finally starting to roll out. Most of them are still in break in mode, so it may take a while before they’re really pressed into action. A friend who’s had several Huracans including a Perf, has told me it feels a bit sharper and lighter and that the brakes are great, but he also had the same comment that it’s quiet below 4k RPM. This is resolvable for those that can’t live with that constraint. @SLDriver has driven his a bit and opined. Mine awaits me at the dealer and I hope to at very least take it for a quick spin on Friday. Mine is a ‘22, and I don’t know whether it has a rev limiter or GPF. Time will tell.
I’ve never been a huge Lambo fan but spotted this in early October driving around downtown Boston. Obnoxious color but I like the lines and it sounded decent. If I were into tracking street cars this would be near the top of my list. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Was at the dealer yesterday to complete the paperwork, but torrential rains kept me from driving it off the lot. It’s certainly a raw car, bare bones inside (or should I say CF), not too much visibility from the cockpit compared to the 458. I feel a little like a tank commander in it. Sport seats are super comfy and the alcantara interior was a great choice. Happy with the spec overall, it looks better in person. V10 is epic. Getting in and out is no harder than the 458, I just have to get accustomed to the lower roof line. Overall this car will take some getting used to, but I think it’s gonna be a winner. Skid plates and PPF next up. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello! awesome specs! a quick question. Is it ad personam for the top to be black from half of the hood all the way to the back? My SA said yes, and he is finding out how much. I want to use it on my verde citrea. Agains, awesome specs! how is the ride for you thus far?
The black top, hatch and bonnet are AdP, called Livery Package 3. It’s about $19k as I recall. I’ve been away the past week but will drive it in earnest when I return and get the PPF done. My initial impressions are positive. Quick, great agility, firm handling and great brakes.
Chris Harris says the STO is the best Lamborghini ever. Which, like track times, means something to some people, but not to everyone. Pick up the video at about the 23:30 mark.
