Just took delivery of a CPO 2020 F8 from San Diego Ferrari. Delivered Friday April 5th.

Less than 2 days and on the delivery tank of Gas it throws a CEL !

I had the car shipped. I am in Northwest Montana. Nearest dealer is in Seattle.

I was able to clear the code, but it just happened again.

I asked the salesman at San Diego for help but, of course, no reply.

Does anyone know what code this corresponds to? I'm hoping that I can wiggle some sensor connector(s) and fix it.

    Thanks you

I took most of the intake components off. It looks like the MAF sensors have been swapped. The tell is the munted MAF sensor fasteners.

This car has only 3000 miles !

I have a complete Ferrari shop history printout. I don't trust carfax - now I'm starting to mistrust the Ferrari workshop reports - nothing more than an oil change.

The frustrating part: I am absolutely delighted with the performance - completely, utterly blown away. I have been a 911 nut and always thought Ferraris were handbags. Eating a flock of crow - I admit that this F8 completely destroys my 992 GT3RS (which was way more expensive).

I have cleaned the MAF sensors and the connectors. Hope my hunch on the code is correct.

This is either a exhaust backpressure issue or a purge valve circuit issue. I can log in and look closer with the last 6 of vin if you want to PM me that. I suspect this may have a Novitec bypass valve system on it eliminating the soot filters. This should come with a piggy back module that plugs into the DLC port to reset the code on every key cycle. I am out of Seattle area but we service 8-10 cars out of Montana area, Missoula, Flathead lake and Boseman areas. Reach out if we can help remotely.
