F8 spider allocation?

Wow, ya I’d say you’re VERY late for that. I think orders have been closed/taken for well over a year or two… I wouldn’t know any way to deliberately take someone’s spot. And I’m sure all spots have already been spec’ed so even if you somehow got someone’s spot, you’d get their configuration…..

I would even venture to guess that they are building the very last few at this point… like, I don’t even believe there is a car they haven’t already started. They are very close to totally done with the F8’s.

As Todd said you are about 1.5 years too late. The final ones are in currently in production now and they should all be completed in the next few months. Best bet is to by a pre owned one. There are tons available and you can probably find any color you want.

 

Well, there really aren’t tons… don’t know why a lot of people say that. Guess it’s perspective. There are only 102 tributos and spiders combined for all years on Autotrader/CarGurus— (that’s TWO per state total!) That doesn’t seem like much at all- if you break down by year and style like a 2021 Tributo, there are 30-32. Seems VERY RARE to me. 50 states and only 30 available? That’s a ton? Again, guess it’s perspective.

Cargurus shows 166 available and those are just the ones listed. Lots of them at Ferrari dealers that don’t show on cargurus. Saw one dealership had 6 sitting on the showroom floor all for sale. That’s a lot for sale. Not rare or hard to find at all. I know you really really really want your car to be rare as we have gone thru this before, but it’s not. You can find coupe below msrp and market for spiders has gotten a lot softer (I know as mine is currently for sale).

 

It's not WANTING it to be rare.... Not really important to me but it's that it IS rare, factually.... as someone in the car business, I see it with a different perspective-- 100-160 or even 200 cars available over a 4 model year period, is ridiculously rare as far as cars go..... and the only cars below MSRP (and its VERY VERY VERY few; like count on your fingers few) are ones with ridiculous mileage, damage or other stories.

 

Mine is in Status 90 and there are only 2 behind me at my dealer. So as everyone else has said you aren't getting a new one. Sorry.
