Brought the conversation up to a buddy of mine and he said they are two very different cars to compare. I owned a 488 and sold it but now I miss the look and feel of a Ferrari. Thinking about one of these.

With F8s and 812SF being in the same price bracket, what do you guys think?

They really are quite different. Its up to what are you looking for, supersport or superGT. V12 appeal os strong, in the end “when on doubt do both” is the best solution

If you have not owned the latest iteration of a Ferrari V12...the 812SF is the choice. No way to compare it to a F8, completely different animals. I came from a rear engine V8 Ferrari and I can assure you the 812SF is the car for me. Just drive them both and you will makeup your mind for sure

I have a friend with an 812 and I have an F8. I would argue that I am in his 812 more than I'm in the F8. I would say F8, but it depends on spec. I like Ferraris that are a little "out there" spec-wise. The F8 handles better, is quicker, and looks a whole lot sportier, while the 812 has the roaring V12 motor and is a whole lot bigger and more comfortable. You can't really go wrong with either one, but as an F8 owner I would go that route.

I went to my 812SF after having a 458 Spider and 488 Spider. I loved everything about the 812 better than the others EXCEPT I missed the open air experience. I have a SF90 Spider on order but may drop it if I find a 812GTS spec I like.

2 completely different cars, F8 is faster and handles better. 812 is a classic V12 front engined Ferrari as all the first Ferrari’s were. V12 will sound amazing the F8 is very muted. I have an F8 and love it but would also love to add an 812.

You really can't go wrong with either but I vote 812. Front engine V12 NA, you essential sit on the rear axle, see the front wheel flares from the dash it's really an experience every time you take the car out even if you are driving slow

Well. I had F8 and have an 812. Now I have a F8S. Every time I get in one car, I think “Damn I like this one the best. “

    There is no wrong answer.

Considering I have an SF90 Spider on order would that have any influence on the decision? Im not sure how the SF90 is VS the F8. If its just a different/higher iteration of the F8 then Id guess the 812 would make more 'Sense' lol.

This is a good summary of that mid-front chassis. I would add that it also feels like the engine is in your lap and the induction sounds run through your upper body.
