Hello all, I just test drove the F8 recently and personally like my f12 better still. However, I think the f8 rims are beautiful, a more sporty version of the 812 rims. It is probably dumb but Out of curiosity and boredom, Does anyone know if such a wheel would even fit on an f12? and before even considering this, can someone photo shop how it might look. Are there any aftermarket that have a similar style?
Fronts will fit fine, but the rear offset is way off. Also, both front and rear wheels are ½" narrower than stock F12. You'd be going from ET71 to ET38 in the rear, so no. Best alternative to the F12 wheels, are TdF and 812 wheels.
Thank you. I found a wheel that is similar to the f8 style directional. https://wheelsboutique.com/product/wheels/anrky-wheels/s1-x3 I would have it in the same darker factory forged gray color. I have asked them to supply a mock to see if it aesthetically fits the car. I would really like a factory look but don’t want it to look ridiculous like putting manufacturers mix and match rims. I just found the f8 rims very stylish and attractive. It may fit the lines of that car more. I will try and post a render if they send.
I have just ordered some Superfast wheels which i hope will fit my F12. Ferrari have a great deal on a set of the standard 812 superfast wheels.
They fit fine. Many have put TdF wheels and tyres on F12 cars as well, and they share the 812 wheel specs. Front offset is the same between them, and the rear will sit 13 mm further out.
Have a look at these as well. Personally I think they are a bit more clean and elegant looking, but still feature the twisted spoke design. https://www.hrewheels.com/wheels/series-rs3m/rs307m
Thank you, that's good news, I will post some pic's in a few weeks with luck. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
is this what you are looking for? https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/the-oem-modified-look-ferrari-812-superfast-by-wheels-boutique.626693/
Thank you. Those look nice! I think ferrari design moving forward is leaning to have some sort of twist to rims for now.
Pretty much Yes! Wb sent me a video of it and quoted me $12k for it. I have been monkeying around with cropping the wheels from that picture of the 812 to a black f12 in Microsoft paint. Starting to get a sense of it will look good. They said some f12 owner seems have ordered so I will wait and hope to see it soon. Thank you for looking out!
Thoughts? Wheels boutique nice enough to make a render. Do the rims match the silhouette and lines of the f12. Or is it not have enough edges/ wedges like 812, f8? Also does it Oem? I don t want it too look aftermarket.
Thank you. I think I will stay stock for now. For some reason, the rims make the f8 rims on the f12 look more 612 scagletti looking. I think straight lines of the rims help accent the round silhouette with contrast.
