    I’ll try not to make this a long post but words cannot describe the rush of emotions I felt when I first laid eyes on the beauty I had the privilege of specifying to my personal taste. For someone like myself, someone who grew up with little to no means, the opportunity to have a car of this caliber is the quintessential definition of the American dream and further testament that work / grit / risks pay off.

    I’ve been fortunate to own several exotics, the Aventador being the last prior to me trading it in advance in preparation for delivery of the F8S.

    Yesterday I was able to see it for the first time directly as it came from the transport truck. Most of everything in the car was in Italian and it wasn’t yet PDI’d from my dealer. Once the PPF, Ceramic and underbody skid plates are installed I’ll take official delivery this Thursday.

    The near 20 month wait was a rollercoaster. I’ll admit full heartedly that there were periods where I thought I wouldn’t get the car. The uncertainty amongst the allocation allotment in addition to COVID nonsense really made me super nervous.

    Nonetheless the beauty went into production in October and was finally delivered to Palm Beach this past Friday. For those of you waiting, hang tight, the wait is worth it. My sales advisor warned me the car may have dirt / debris / plastic on it from the port. I was pleasantly surprised to see the car in near perfect condition. My SA further stated that my particular car was the cleanest he had ever seen one come right from the port. Clearly Ferrari builders knew this was my forever exotic and spent tons of time and attention overlooking all the details. I checked the options against my MODIS build and thank God everything ticked off.

    Congratulations!!! Love seeing dreams fulfilled. Especially the dreams of those that start with next to nothing and are able to self-actualize with hard work, grit, and a pinch of luck.

    Very nice, congrats!

    Mine is somewhere at the dealer being prepped but I won't be able to take delivery until I return later in May.

    Normally of course I'd be full of excitement, but........upcoming in early May is travel and 4 track days at Watkins Glen (with the 458), college re-union, and a niece's wedding in NJ. At least I have a Ferrari to kick around, lol......

    Still, looking forward to the F8S and it's been a looooong wait - 16 months from deposit.

    I was told my car did not show up with CarPlay (I don't care either way).

    Dude, congrats.

    Our interiors are similar, except mine has reverse stitch and racing Daytonas.

    Just took mine out for the first time, be careful with it. I thought the 488 was pretty fast but this thing is synthetic, video game quick and gets very loose quickly with the mannetino to the right of race. :eek:

    No CarPlay. FFS rates are now in low 6% range and base price is over $5k higher. It is what it is I guess. I wasn’t thrilled but there’s tons of equity in car. If it holds who knows but I didn’t buy the car to make $$$. If it appreciates over time and or holds its value that’s a bonus.

    Thank you! Your Ferrari logo kit is being installed and I’m still debating the Carbon Fiber engine bay parts. Will at some point do the Novitec exhaust and springs.

    I've read / heard a lot of conflicting stories regarding this. Apparently some dealers install both and have no issue. I'll speak with the service managers directly before I do anything. At best, it'll be at least 6 months before I change anything.

    congrats, what a beautiful blu you have. We all remember the first time our first Ferrari arrived. Just like woman, the beauty of hers lies exactly in the imperfection she has. Things being too perfect often are too boring and uninteresting. You will soon encounter many things that are not perfect with Ferrari as good portion of it are made by hand. The battery, the uneven gap between panels, the paint, the electronics quirks, the buttons, etc.

    When you encounter these, just think of them like women on period. Don't get discouraged. They will go and come back, but none of that matters when you open up the garage and just stare at her, oh I mean the car, then everything really becomes perfect.

    Enjoy! Don't let it be a garage queen. Share with us more pictures under the sun!

    FFS Balloon residual on F8S is now 65%. Unless you have tremendous loyalty (this is my first new car and first time with FFS) the rates are in low 6. I asked around, it is what it is at this point. Having tons of equity helps.
