quite interesting, i thought FA mentioned once that he does not need GF's help....pressure's mounting?

Surely referring to Fisichella, who meandered around in sixth or seventh place throughout the French Grand Prix event, he added: "Unfortunately, not everyone can benefit from the same things. I always race alone without any help."

It's not like he's wrong. At least Massa stays somewhere around MS if the car is quick. GF had his head up his butt all last weekend.

Renault made a big mistake resigning this Has Been, they should have signed Hekki immediately and went after Kimi as well. GF is never at the sharp point of the grid. I am surprised Flavio didn't take Webber instead.

I still think FA's head has gotten way too HUGE. I really have been rooting for him to lose every race. I guess it makes F1 more exciting to watch.

FA really has become a dumbass. There are so many articles in the french press about it ..
I just wish Mass could finish 2nd instead of 3rd .

FA is right, he gets no support from Fisico who is pretty useless to begin with.

Everyone has hit the nail on the head. GF is lost in space. FA has rubbed me wrong from day 1 in interviews. His driving makes it hard to not like him though.
FM seems to be getting more comfortable and as long as he continues to improve I can't see how anyone can fault him. He stepped into a team that was a dynasty (and unchanged in regards to personnel) for nearly half a decade. At least he doesn't whine (yet) as Barrichello did like the little engine that could.

I do wish Webber would get a little luck on his side; either he shunts or the car fails him. I'm pulling for Schumi on Sundays, but Webber is a close second.

Blick is currently doing a half season assessment and what's interesting in regards to Renault is, that they're starting to fall apart internally. The question will be whether they can keep it together to clinch the title or not, but things within the team are really not good anymore. That also ends all speculation, that Alonso would stay. He wants to get out of there asap.

Compare that to Ferrari where things are optimistic again and Todt believes both titles are possible again.

On the upside, we have him to thank for the Constructor's Championship still being as close as it is.

That and the sudden strength of the Scuderia. Add the weakness of the Michelins to it and the effects of loosing FA is starting to shake things up.

yeah...thank goodness for that. i'm starting to wonder, if MS decides to stick around for 1 more season, massa's good work can't be ignored. it's really getting mixed up. i like to see massa race, he's really improving dramatically. but at the same time, i'd like to see schu and kimi as teammates...

So it would be more exciting to watch MS win every race? F1 in general has become a bore. There are just two cars on the grid that can win these days. it's just ridiculous.

Alonso's gone, he really doesn't care what he says about GF or Renault anymore. I like his driving, but what really pisses me off is the fist shaking at a backmarker an ENTIRE straight in front of him. WTF? I guess everyone should just pull over when he's in the lead (roll eyes)
