Anyone interested in exhaust mods should check these guys out very closely prior to purchase. Talk to anyone who has dealt with them.

Old news, all of the Porsche guys have known about them (Joe Fab) for a long time, I guess it was matter of time when he migrated over the Ferrari scene.

I have read the history on them and dealt with them in the past. You should explain your issue for the benefit of the site.

I'll explain For the benefit of the site. 2 months ago I traded my 360 for a 911 turbo cab. I loved the car but it sounded like a VW. I called FAb speed and spoke to their rep requesting a throatier exhaust note, He indicated that they had a system for $3500. I wasn't prepared to spend that much and he said they had a used system for $2100 that I would be very happy with. Being a sucker for a deal, I bit. They installed the system and I drove the car home with the top down. The sound was what I wanted. The next day I drove it with the top up and got a headache inducing drone between 2200 and 2500 rpm. I called them and they knew exactly what I was talking about and indicated they would make some adjustments to attenuate the drone. After several phone calls to the tech re: failed scheduling and methods of correction, I spoke with Joe the owner. He commented that his tech was only 24 years old and I shouldn't have paid any attention to him??? I told Joe that I wanted to table the issue to see if the noise would abate with use. . It has not and my wife wont ride in the car with the top up. I called Joe back and left several messages re correction of the issue. I called back and spoke with Joe again and he indicated that they would place several cones in the system to diminish the drone. He said he would call me back. After several weeks, another minion finally called and indicated how busy Joe was and that he could handle the problem. They will sell me another system for $3500 that would correct the issue. By this time I had had enough and told them to either correct the system on the car or take it off and to put the old one back on. They told me there would be a 30% restocking and $400 labor charge. I told them to send my old system back to me. I'll have a local Porsche shop reinstall the oem system.

You should have just driven up there and confonted this Joe character face to face, sometimes this is the only solution with people who don't seem to care.

    Sorry to hear about this.
